Marcus Fabius Quintilianus (35 Calagurris; Španělsko – 96 Řím, častěji udáváno před rokem 100) byl římský řečník a učitel rétoriky.. O jeho životě se ví velmi málo jistých dat. Jisté je prakticky pouze to, že se narodil v dnešním Španělsku. Institutio Oratoria (Základy rétoriky), 12-dielna učebnica rečníctva, je jediným dochovaným Quintilianovým dielom.Je významná nielen ako pojednanie o teórií a praxi rečníctva, ale i ako zdroj informácii o rímskom vyššom vzdelaní a nárokoch, ktoré sa po všetkých stránkach kládli na pripravujúceho sa rečníka.
